1:1 Coaching

A calm, supportive space to explore what’s going on for you, understand your needs and find realistic ways forward. Together we’ll focus on managing energy, easing overwhelm and creating a life that feels sustainable and aligned with who you are.

- sessions last one hour

- an email or call check-in will take place after each session

A one-hour session to help you think through your options, prepare for conversations and consider a sustainable approach - whether you're returning to work, adjusting your current role, or not sure where to start.

For parents and carers of young people with ME/CFS, Long Covid or energy-limiting conditions

Support with navigating school and SEND provision.

A one-hour video call to help you feel more confident in explaining your child's condition and working with education staff.

The Gentle Energy Collective

A space to find calm, connection and support, at your own pace, as you navigate life with chronic fatigue, chronic illness, energy-limiting conditions or burnout.

Tools and Resources

Designed to support symptom management, reflection, pacing and everyday wellbeing, these resources can be used in your own time and in a way that suits your energy and circumstances. They work well as a gentle starting point alongside coaching with pricing kept accessible to reflect their flexible, ongoing support.

Online coaching via video call

All coaching sessions are conducted online through Teams or Zoom. You will receive a meeting link in advance of each session.

Coaching via video call offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to fit your sessions into your life more easily. Plus, it eliminates the need to navigate a new environment.

To get the most out of your coaching, ensure you’re in a quiet, comfortable space where you feel at ease and can fully focus on the session.

Why would I need a Health and Wellbeing Coach I hear you ask?

In brief – there’s no single answer but here are a few reasons why people choose to work with a coach:

Sometimes, as many good humans can testify, we get stuck and caught in patterns that no longer serve us. It becomes harder to see the wood for the trees. Even when we recognise that some habits aren’t helping us, the idea of changing them, or knowing where to start, can feel overwhelming.

For others, a particular life event may prompt a pause: a moment to take stock and explore what matters now and how life might look moving forward.

You might feel that you once had a balanced relationship with your health and wellbeing, but over time, as the different phases of life shift and stack up, you’ve gradually lost sight of yourself. This can be especially true when health challenges or long-term conditions make everyday life more complex — when even the basics take more thought and what’s possible can vary from day to day.

What can you as a Health and Wellbeing Coach help me with?

Some people come with a specific focus. Others just know something isn’t quite working, and want to find a gentler, more sustainable way of moving forward. Depending on what you need, we might explore things like:

- managing stress or improving sleep

- navigating mindset shifts and self-talk

- understanding how your nervous system responds to challenge and rest

- recognising and reshaping unhelpful patterns or habits

- building coping strategies that actually support you

- mindful living and small practices that bring steadiness

- journaling or reflective techniques

- setting realistic, meaningful goals

- building sustainable movement into your day, in ways that support rather than deplete you

- creating a personalised wellbeing ‘toolbox’

- adjusting to life with chronic illness or supporting a return to work

- caring for others while not losing sight of yourself

There’s no one path – the work is led by you, at your pace. Coaching is simply a space to feel heard, supported, and encouraged to move toward what feels more aligned, whatever that might look like for you.

Is coaching suitable for everyone?

In short – no! Coaching isn’t the right fit for every situation and that’s okay.

It depends on what kind of support you’re looking for. Coaching is different from therapy or medical treatment. It’s not a place for diagnosing conditions or working through the past but about helping you move forward from where you are now.

In coaching, we sometimes talk about client coaching readiness. That doesn’t mean you have to be in a perfect place to begin – far from it – but it does mean being open to exploring your current situation and willing to take small steps, even if you’re still finding your footing. Some people come to coaching specifically because they want support in making peace with where they are, so that they can begin to move forward.

Coaching does ask for your time, energy, and reflection. A coach won’t do the work for you but they’ll walk alongside you, offering structure, encouragement and a fresh perspective to help you move in the direction that feels right for you.

That said, if you’re struggling with your mental health or finding things beyond overwhelming, your GP is your first port of call. They’ll be able to help you access the right kind of support.

If you’re unsure whether coaching is the right fit, we can always have a chat and talk things through. It’s not about having all the answers – just a willingness to begin. As Steve Maraboli puts it, “an inch of movement will bring you closer to your goals than a mile of intention.”

What does a discovery call involve?

This is a relaxed 15 minute video call where we can get to know each other a little. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to coaching and explore any goals or changes you’re hoping to make. You’ll also get a sense of how coaching works — how it can support you to move towards your goals or vision.

You don’t need to have it all figured out beforehand. Sometimes things feel broad or a bit woolly and that’s completely fine. Coaching is often most powerful when you’re not quite sure where to begin. Together, we can start to uncover what’s getting in the way, consider new possibilities and gently build momentum that helps you move forward and thrive.

What can I expect in a coaching session?

A coaching session is a dedicated time and space, via an online video call, where you can feel safe to talk, reflect, and explore your thoughts and goals. As your coach, I’m here to listen attentively, ask questions to help you think deeply about your situation, and offer activities that support your self-discovery.

You’re welcome to decide whether to have your camera on or off –  while I recommend keeping it on to help build rapport, you can always turn it off for a bit if that feels more comfortable.

How many sessions do I need?

The number of sessions you need depends on your personal goals and what you’d like to achieve. While individual 1:1 sessions can be helpful for specific questions or guidance, meaningful, lasting change typically takes time. New habits often take about 28 days to settle in, so working together over a series of sessions is more effective for creating sustainable progress.

I offer packages of three, four and six sessions, each with a discount compared to booking individual sessions. These packages give you the support you need throughout the process, helping you build momentum and make lasting change.

If you prefer ongoing support after completing your package, you can also choose to book regular 1:1 sessions as needed.

Will coaching heal ME/CFS?

There is currently no cure for ME/CFS. It’s a condition that needs to be managed over time, rather than treated or fixed. While some medical professionals can help with specific symptoms, many people find their own ways to live alongside the illness. Coaching won’t offer a cure and it’s certainly not about pushing through or boosting energy. Instead, it’s a supportive space to help you find what matters most to you, to explore ways of living that are sustainable and to rediscover your sense of self, beyond the illness.

You are not defined by what you can produce or achieve – your worth isn’t measured by energy levels or output. Even within the limits this condition imposes, you may find that your experiences deepen qualities like compassion, insight, and empathy. Coaching can help you recognise and honour what you can hold onto, or reconnect with – not by changing who you are, but by supporting who you’ve always been.
